A 5-foot-7 senior forward, Grimm recorded 13 goals and seven assists through her first eight games. The Cougars are undefeated and ranked No. 1 in Class 2A.
The two-time MVC player of the year is Kennedy’s all-time scoring leader with 104 goals and 71 assists. She has a 4.2 grade point average.
She has signed a national letter of intent to play at the University of Iowa.
“(Grimm) has been consistently the best (girls’) player in Iowa,” said Ian Bradley, state director of coaching for the Iowa Soccer Association. “She just a natural goal-scorer. She’s got that natural sense of where the goal is, and she’s not afraid to shoot.”
