Due to extensive damage to the playing fields as James Cownie Soccer Park in Des Moines, the Iowa High School Athletic Association announced Tuesday that the boys’ state soccer tournament will be moved to high school fields.

Iowa City West, Norwalk and Iowa City Regina remain the top-ranked teams in boys’ soccer by the Iowa High School Soccer Coaches Association.
West (4-1) received nine of 10 first-place votes in Class 3A and is followed by West Des Moines Valley, Ankeny, Des Moines Hoover and Bettendorf.
In 2A, Norwalk (4-0) is a unanimous No. 1, followed by Spencer, Decorah, Dubuque Wahlert and Cedar Rapids Xavier.
Regina (1-1) also is unanimous in 1A. Solon, Council Bluffs St. Albert, Davenport Assumption and Waterloo Columbus round out the top five.
