Saints finally strike, then strike again

It took Cedar Rapids Xavier more than 67 minutes to score its first touchdown of the season, then 4 minutes to score its second.

The Saints spotted Linn-Mar a 3-0 lead, then scored the next 14 points for a 14-3 halftime lead at Armstrong Field.

Xavier has 82 yards on the ground, 82 in the air. That’s decent balance, wouldn’t you say?

Linn-Mar has 98 yards, but 45 came on the first play of the game.
