Not much doubt about this night.
Renesa Smith-Taylor had 13 points and 10 assists in Cedar Rapids Washington’s 75-53 girls’ basketball win over Cedar Rapids Jefferson tonight at Wash.
But that’s not all. The point guard collected seven rebounds and six steals.
And that’s not all. She was 3-for-3 from the field, 7-for-7 from the line.
That’s all.
Ran into Jade Rogers before the game. She doubts she’ll play tonight when Cedar Rapids Kennedy faces Cedar Rapids Xavier.
Come to think of it, I doubt if any of them will play.
Instead of driving to the office after the game, I came straight home to write. Probably the smartest thing I did all day (not that there was a lot of competition).
It’s sleeting. It’s snowing. And I just saw some lightning.
The kids are sleeping on the couches in the living room in front of the Christmas tree. They assume there’s no school tomorrow. I think they’re going to be right.
