Monday night miscellany

4:42 p.m. — This will be an abbreviated version, due to hte fact that I’m watching and writing on Springville and Tipton.

The live chat was a flop, partially because my laptop decided to freeze for a few minutes — right at 4 p.m.

One big piece of pepperoni pizza and one bottle of water: $7.50. Never ceases to amaze me.

It appears that Springville is sans pep band.

5:00 p.m. — Springville’s first four possessions: Three turnovers, two missed FTs. MSM 2-0.

5:04 p.m. — Springville’s still walking a lot. They lead 4-2 on two putbacks.

Tuesday, 9 a.m. — This is where the computer got goofy. Suffice it to say that Springville won, Tipton lost and it’s a new day.

It’s always good to be recognized, even if it’s for being lame and leaving the pep band at home.

Lucky for SHS the school that they played against had the same school song, so though they probably didn’t appreciate it, SHS cheerleaders led the crown when their band played.

A little tacky, but what can you do when your band stays home.

Wow Jeff, is this your new laptop, giving you so much trouble?
Man…they just don’t make em like they used to…but you looked like you were at least enjoying your view of the games!

I hope the laptop shapes up. Your blogs, updates and commentary are the first thing I look for when I log on.

We’re up and going again. Some glitch that it took me back to last year’s tournament blog and I couldn’t get out of that cycle. Remind your pals that we’re live-chattin’ at 4.
