Jalyssa Ceasar (5-10, sr.) leads a high-scoring North outfit at 17.7 points and 8.7 rebounds per game. Brittni Donaldson (5-7, soph.) and Josee Jansen (5-7, soph.) add 11.0 and 10.7 points per game for the No. 2 Stars.

Coaches: Dennis Roloff is 268-138 in 18 years at Kennedy. Kirk Walker is 281-147 in 20 years, including 154-35 in eight years at North.

How they got here: Kennedy got 20 points and 14 rebounds from Rogers in an impressive 68-50 win over Waukee. North pulled away in the third quarter to beat Indianola, 78-56.

 LINN-MAR (24-0) vs. AMES (22-2)

Key players: Jaime Printy (5-11, sr.) paces top-ranked Linn-Mar at 17.8 points per game. Kiah Stokes (6-3, soph.) adds 15.7 points, 12.7 rebounds and 6.3 blocks per game. Trisha Nesbitt (5-7, sr.) paces No. 4 Ames at 16.4 ppg. Kionna Kellogg (6-2, jr.) adds 13.4 points and 9.7 boards per game.

Coaches: Mike Brandt is 121-61 in eight seasons at Linn-Mar. Joel Sullivan is 132-52 in eight years at Ames, 141-81 in 10 years overall.

How they got here: Linn-Mar survived a first-round scare, edging Cedar Rapids Xavier, 34-31. Ames battled past CIML foe Ankeny, 45-40.

Key players: Katie Eiben (6-2, sr.) is No. 1 Springville’s top scorer at 16.2 points per game. Callie Kloubec (5-10, sr.) adds 10.3 points and 7 rebounds per game. Jessica McDowell (6-0, sr.) leads No. 3 AGWSR at 14 points per game. Macy Ubben (6-2, sr.) adds 11.9 ppg.

Coaches: Brian O’Donnell is in his eighth year at Springville, where he has amassed a 120-73 record. He’s 121-93 overall. Bruce Dall is 117-10 in five years at AGWSR and 237-84 in 12 years overall.

How they got here: Springville has posted wins over Martensdale-St. Marys (44-36) and North Butler (46-45 in OT). AGWSR has beaten New London (40-29) and George-Little Rock (47-40).


CASCADE (24-3) vs. IKM-MANNING (25-2)

Key players: Chanda Goedken (5-11, sr.) leads Cascade at 10.4 points per game. Holly Hosch (6-0, jr.) adds 9 points per game. Drake recruit Katie Schechinger (6-3, sr.) leads No. 3 IKM-Manning at 19.1 points and 8.8 rebounds per game. Bailey Halbur (6-1, sr.) and Caitlin Axland (5-9, sr.) add 11.7 and 10.7 ppg, respectively.

Coaches: Mike Sconsa is 92-20 in five years at Cascade. Wolves Coach Gene Rasmussen has a career record of 204-46.

How they got here: Cascade advanced with wins over Denver (49-34) and Hinton (56-43). IKM-Manning has beaten Tipton (55-34) and Manson-NW Webster (60-47).
