If I still had a male vote (which unfortunately I do not), it would be as follows:

    1. Keenan Davis
    2. Matt Morrison
    3. Drew Clark
    4. Scott Schebler
    5. Sean Brandhorst

Good luck, guys. This is a difficult one.

  3. Dave Ryan Says:

Either Davis or Clark would be fine selections by virtue of their elite individual status with football/track, but I’d have a hard time voting against Matt Morrison. The young man from Solon has done nothing but win over the last 3 years. Along with a fine supporting cast, he was certainly a difference maker in many ways as he was the QB and Point Guard on the 2A state championship football and basketball squads, respectively.

  4. mfergus Says:

I agree with Dave’s logic with one small exception: I would go Morrison and Clark as one and two. I can’t see Keenan as number one based on his actual performance this year. He had his moments, but he spent a lot of time ‘injured’ this year. If this poll is soley based and physical Talents, then I would place him first, but I can’t see how you can ignore Morrison with two state championships and getting a D1 scholarship in a third (baseball)

On the girls side, shouldn’t there be at least two girls out of springville?
